The guidelines for theme issues are the same as general guidelines with the exception of the word limit. For theme issues there is no word or line limit. We want you to submit anything and everything you've got for us in the theme. Send us your work the usual way, except in the subject line put the title of which issue you are submitting to so that we can sort accordingly. Below are the details of each issue and what we are looking for according to theme. There are four issues at the moment, each with their own deadlines, but you are welcome to submit at any time. If for some reason you send us a submission and we feel it doesn't fit the theme you chose, we will place it in the one we feel is for, or keep it for general submissions. If we like what you have to offer, we'll find a place for it.
Lost in Love:
In honor of Valentine's Day, we want your stories of love. Any type of love you want to show us, we want to read it. Tell us the story of your first anniversary with the love of your life, or the essay of you and your mom spending the day together and creating memories you'll never forget. One word of caution, unless it is relevant to the story or essay, we still do not want anything with erotica. Send your stories and essays and everything with love and make us fall in love, just like you.

Dip of Summer:
In honor of the Fourth of July and family picnics, Dip of Summer will feature summer stories, essays, poems, photos, and comics that evolve around anything to deal with the holiday. Send us your stories of the family picnic you'll never forget or the essay about what independence means to you. Whatever is it, we want to read it. Use your imagination and judgment and let's see what you've got.

Toil and Trouble:
In honor of Halloween we want your spooky tales and your trick or treating. Don't have a story or essay like that, that's fine. Tell us about something that happened on October the 31st. Tell us about the first time you tried pumpkin seeds or thought you saw a ghost. Anything involving the holiday somehow is what we are looking for, so send away!

Under the Tree:
Last but not least, let's honor Christmas. Don't celebrate Christmas? That's even better. Tell us about the holiday you do celebrate. Tell us the tale of an unforgettable snowball fight, send an essay with the history of your religion, or just tell us about that special dinner you have every year. Draw us a fun comic of building a snowman, or explain a tradition with your art.
