Guidelines for Submissions
FICTION and NONFICTION:
We are accepting any type of fiction with the exception of erotica and we ask for nothing too vulgar. Our limit is between 2,000 and 8,000 words. The theme of our magazine is inspirational and uplifting stories which showcase overcoming a challenge, but we are open to other stories as well, depending on quality. There is no reading period at this time; we will accept work whenever you feel like sending it. Please send works as a separate attachment in the email; either Word, Pages, or PDF. Also include a cover letter with word count, genre of story, and a small author biography. Please give us at least three months to read your work and please do not send emails inquiring about your work, we will contact you as soon as we make a decision. We are willing to accept simultaneous submissions, but please notify us as soon as your work is accepted elsewhere.
POETRY:
We are open to any type of poetry, except erotica and nothing with excessive amounts of vulgarity. You can send a maximum of five poems at a time with no more then twenty-five lines per poem. There is no reading period at this time; we will accept work whenever you feel like sending it. Please send works as a separate attachment in the email; either Word, Pages, or PDF. Also include a cover letter with line count, genre of poem, and a small author biography. Please give us at least three months to read your work and please do not send emails inquiring about your work, we will contact you as soon as we make a decision. VISUAL ARTS:
We are willing to accept comics, illustrated short stories, and photography. Illustrated short stories follow the rules of fiction and nonfiction, while comics and photography are similar to poetry. Please send a maximum of five photographs and comics should be a maximum of 15 panels.There is no reading period at this time; we will accept work whenever you feel like sending it. Please send works as a separate attachment in the email; either Word, Pages, or PDF. Also include a cover letter with panel count, genre of story, and a small author biography. Please give us at least three months to read your work and please do not send emails inquiring about your work, we will contact you as soon as we make a decision. BOOK REVIEWS:
We don't have strict standards for our book reviews. All we ask is that you give a fair description and criticism of the novel and be sure to credit the correct author(s) and any sources you reference. Be send to send all the needed information about the book so we are able to locate the cover art and so our readers know where to find their own copy. Word count is low, 500-1,500 words. Also, please be sure to warn our readers about any spoilers that you may reveal in the review. Reviews will be posted in between the release of our issues.
FORMAT:
As far as formatting goes, we are not too picky about how exactly it looks, but we do ask that you use a clear font, (ex. Times New Roman, Arial, or Courier), and an average font size (ex. 11 or 12). Please double space all essays, stories, and poems for easy reading.

Unfortunately we are unable to pay our writers at this time, but it is something we are working on. Hopefully in the near future we will be able to have to resources to pay each writer accordingly for their masterpieces.

With the new eBooks format, we will gift our contributing authors a free copy of their books on whichever platform they choose. Once the issue hits online, we will email the authors asking what format they would prefer.
